Good evening.I do not sleep very well during the night. One of the reason I take a nap every afternoon. I sleep much better than at night time. I have been hearing so much about power nap and had to look it up. What I read is good news. Below is some information I got online about power nap. Give it a read. photo online freebie More and more studies have shown that power naps have many health benefits for adults. That’s right, naps aren’t just for kids and they aren’t a sign of laziness. In fact, people who take power naps have experienced everything from improved memory and reduced stress to even lower blood pressure. While there are some cons to napping the potential pros make it worth trying out, as long as it’s done right. People with hectic and stressful lifestyles often benefit from napping, but it ‘s not just for crazy lifestyles. So whether you sleep well and for the recommended eight hours each night, feel burnt out, or if you wonder how and where in your schedule you’re supposed to fit sleep in, here are ten dreamy benefits of power naps that could change your life… could not get the link to behave..

I don't sleep very well at night and sometimes I can have a nap during the day, but most of the time, I can't sleep either, just resting to get some energy back.

I have read about them too. I suddenly recall a time in the past when I nodded for about 20 minutes, woke up and felt a surge of energy I didn't know where it came from and how it happened. But I don't trust myself to wake up from a power nap at the intended time, so I'm too scared to try.

I only ever power nap on the bus, but I have been known to enjoy two hour naps on afternoons when I'm not working. In medieval times, people would get up in the middle of the night in winter, to eat, toilet and get jiggy with it. I wonder if that's why some of us are night owls.

In the winter time if I go to bed early. I won't need to nap because the nights are so long. However, in the summer time when the days are longer and the nights are shorter. I will take me a nap. I feel a lot better when I do. Sometimes, I get so sleepy I can't hardly keep my eyes open. I don't like to wait until I get that way. So, before I do I'll take me a nap. I feel so well rested after I take naps.

I do like to take a siesta during the day. The bed is rather lonely at night as I am not married, which means it is very hard to sleep. So, I stay up late & work. I don't siesta all day, just maybe an hour. You know how most of Europe & Mexico have regular siestas every day? Wouldn't it be neat if the United States did also?

I rarely “power nap.” I’m more along the lines of that “1 hour, 30 minute” thing on that chart you have. Usually the only time I will “power nap” is during golf season, when I’ll take a quick nap after work and before playing.

I'm a massive fan of the power nap. Although I have to be careful. Any longer than about 30 minutes and I wake up feeling sluggish and even more tired!

@amadeo I once decided to have a power nap in my car at lunch time. Woke up 2 hours later feeling really awful and had to stay late at work to make up for the time I'd been sleeping. I only ever nap at weekends now!!!

I rarely nap but this week I did twice and will today, I think. This cold makes me feel achy and sleeping is difficult. I sit down in my recliner with a book and sleep very soon it seems.

I know when I take a nap, it isn't always a power nap, but as much as two hours, but no matter the length, I always feel like a new person and I'm ready to get on with my day.

I am just the opposite. I only take a nap on Saturdays and I find it very hard to fall asleep at night after that.
19 Jan 18
my husband and I usually take a short nap between 2pm and 4pm, but only during the work week.
19 Jan 18
I like to take power naps, too. 20-30mins nap would be awesome! If I'm tired though, I prefer a full sleep.
