I never got to hear much 50s music other than country western @GardenGerty I never liked c&w so didn't care much for music until the Beatles.

@rebelann Nope, I do not recall any country and western at the show, but I do know what you mean. I am thinking of songs like "At the Hop" and Buddy Holley things.

They had an Australian "Ute" a utility vehicle that was like a coupe with a truck bed on back, by Ford. I will have to scratch my brain to remember what truck it was based off of.

@GardenGerty These are a dime a dozen in Australia. Virtually every farm will have a 'ute' and they even have a Ute Muster where everyone turns up with their utes and, usually, their swags and their dogs.

This is a real customized Chevy Suburban . It is pulling a trailer made from an "Essex"--not sure what that is. This is a road worthy car, with tv and other entertainment features plus rear heat and air, etc.

I remembered that you had said you like them. The discounted ticket for this show was $11. We also ate out on the way home. This was my husband's birthday celebration. I will try to think of discussions that require pictures.

@celticeagle Here is a pretty one. I loved how they set up mirrors so you could see the under body work as well. I love the classic colors, but the new modern paint jobs are as pretty as candy.

They have a "Road Rocket Rumble" in Indianapolis every year, and there's always some great rockabilly music acts playing there live. I don't go for the cars, I go for the music!!

I can see you doing that. I go mostly for the atmosphere. I hardly know one old car from another. It is great, usually there are some DJ's from one radio station or another with the playlists they think we all will enjoy.

@JohnRoberts It looks like it has an airplane body. It has a fan like a swamp boat propelling it from the rear and has been out on the ice cruising in Minnesota before. I thought it was a helicopter at first. It is made by BMW. This is a 1957 model.
