On Saraswati puja Hindus worship the Goddess of Wisdom. / myLot

Saraswati puja is one of popular spiritual festival of Hindus. On the day of Saraswati puja Hindus worship the Goddess of Wisdom. Hindus offer flowers and fruits to Goddess Saraswati. They buy idols of Devi Saraswati with yellow dress. Brahmans chant mantras and devotees give pushpanjali to God. Children pray for wisdom.

We call it basant panchmi I guess. My kids have participated in several activities they will have today in their school.

Thanks Sanjeevji yes in West Bengal also schools and colleges many art competition on the same day.
