Why?

I have reached the point where getting on social media, Facebook in particular has caused me to become angry. Why do people feel the need to be hateful and rude all the time? It just makes me sick to see anything on Facebook anymore. No matter what the topic or video is, someone always has something hateful and rude to say. Is that what we have become now? No compassion, respect,love or kindness toward others at all? This isn't the world i grew up in and this is not the world i want my child to grow up in. Something has to change and I have no solution other than waiting for God to finally watch all he can watch of people destroying each other before he says enough is enough. I have completely lost all hope in the kindness of humans on social media. People on Facebook are pure evil. I'm sorry this isn't really a blog about a topic besides people being hateful. It's just ridiculous.

Indeed my friend. Facebook has become an arguing arena for certain people. Everthing I join mylot I just spend more time here. At least here people are nice. Social media has turn into a total disaster. People argues a lot and someone has to be always rude.

Yes I agree. Everyone wants to argue and call names rather than just enjoying talking to each other.

That's true that's why I am choosy now with social networks. I choose those sites or network that are informative and entertaining. I still have facebook but not so active because of the same reason you have mentioned. I hope posting should be regulated.

I think they should make it less about the problems of the world and more about people socializing with one another.

Please do not generalize. Every person is unique individual. Some may be kind and some may be cruel. Please don't lose hope to meet someone who might show you kindness.

I agree and I won't. I know good people exist, they just seem to be rare on social media.
