The Sun Will Come Out....TODAY!!!

After waking up to heavy rain the skies cleared and the sun is peeking out. Our dismal start to the day now has brightened up. Gosh, I feel so much better. Rainy dismal days just make me feel like doing a big fat nothing.
Our little female pup Mush is all curled up right outside the sliding glass doors and soaking up the sunshine. Her brother hasn't noticed the sun came out and he's still snoring in the living room. Dogs are so funny.
As I pushed myself to get things done this morning now I have the afternoon free to read. The book I had started didn't grab my interest even though so many people recommended it and said they didn't want it to end. Guess I'll go back to it another day and in the meantime I decided to start a James Patterson book about the Women's Murder Club (#16 in their series).
We have leftover grilled chicken so that will go nicely on a salad tonight so I don't even have to worry about cooking when my daughter gets home from work.

Good that you are having some welcome sunshine.The James Patterson book would surely be thrilling.What was the other book that was recommended?

Its not raining here either, its warm and sunny, my dogs are laying in the grass sleeping in the sun.

Hope you have a good rest of the day. Mine is at an end. Just a quiet one on the PC. Our days continue to be gray and dull and there is white, white, white outside. What a thrill lol

Yay to the sunshine!!!! Dogs and cats love to sleep in the sunshine. I bet Mush's brother will want to kick himself for missing that nice, warm sunshine! lol
Enjoy your book. I think I will read, too, after I try to work on some notifications.

Chicken on salad, I had that yesterday for lunch! Yummy:) It was raining here too, but now we're getting snow, also.
