“Did you ever feel ITCHY when seeing SOMEONE or SOMETHING?”

I am still human and sometimes there are things that I feel itchy. If we look around, there are some situations that we might also feel the itchiness. For example, I was walking around my city yesterday; I saw a man scratching his back in public. I don’t mind at all. However, it seems like I wanted to scratch my back, too. You can also include the red bumps at his back. At the back of my mind, he might have some allergic reactions to something. In real-life settings, this kind of behavior can happen. It was like hating someone without any reasons. You just felt itchy seeing him or her. It sounds weird but it does happen to me and not only once, but for a couple of times. How about you, guys? Did someone or something make you feel itchy? Image Credit: unsplash.com

I think it is a normal reaction. We are like the mirror image of them.

The only time I feel phantom itchiness like that is if I hear about someone with head lice. Thankfully neither I nor my kids has ever had it.

During my childhood years, there are some kiddies have such. I must admit that I do feel itchy by just hearing about it.

Not really. Maybe because I don't mind activity of others or don't even make too much attention of it.

If I see someone with an injury, it makes me itchy; I feel like I was also injured. It makes me to start scratching that spot or rubbing it on my own body.

I know what you mean. I also have the same reaction seeing one. That's the reason why I stopped working in the hospital.

There is one story that I hated the most. When I in high school, a classmate is spreading the yuckiest story ever. The story goes like this. A person had his head operation because of the lice colony. Uh...I don't want to elaborate it.

It is nice to hear that, my friend. For some medical professionals, they don't show their reactions when seeing such behavior in the hospital.

@LadyDuck I agree. It is better for them to show empathy than having such reaction.

Oh yes, I am itchy when I see oily people or sneaky people or when some one is blatantly lying. Shady characters fall in this category too.

It sounds strange, right? Regardless, it happens and mirror imaging is possible. It wasn’t that serious, unless if a person is having a psychological problem. I hope it is not.

I think it sounds likely. If we were affected by it, the possibility that we are in such reaction. I hope it is not that serious matter though.
