I guess many people don't realize that 'The Blues Brothers' is an actual band, not just a fictitious band in a movie of the same name. Their first album came out two years (1978) before the release of the movie (1980) and they are still recording/touring despite the death of a few original members (such as John Belushi, also known as 'Joliet Jake' Blues). Here is where it all began... The Blues Brothers - Briefcase Full Of Blues

I had that album once. I think Jim stepped in for John at one time.

I had trouble finding this this morning, I'd somehow ended up filing it with Dad's albums

Dan Aykroyd is a man of many talents. So was John Belushi.

@RasmaSandra -- if nothing else, Aretha Franklin doing "Think" will make it worth your time.

They actually had a pair of Top 40 singles before the movie was made.
