The Family Is All Home Now

My family came to visit for a short time because I have had health issues for a while now. They wanted to make sure that I really was up and around. I assured them that I am able to still get up out of bed in the morning but they needed to see for themselves.
I have a few pictures taken while they were here and will be sharing them with you here on myLot. The picture I have on this post is of my husband and I will all of our grandchildren. As you can see they are covering wide range, from 20 years old to 7 months old.
I haven't been here lately because of the visit and the fact that I was just plain worn out. After the visit I was so tired I felt it was and effort to move. Then we started moving back to Summerfield. We decided we needed to move to the smaller home. There is less to take care of and we are both getting tired.
Anyway, I missed everyone here and will be slowly getting to the comments and reading of posts that I have neglected during this time. I hope everything is going well for everyone.

I'm happy to hear that your family came for a visit. When mine does that, I really get uplifted and tired, all at once:) You have lovely grandchildren, this is a very nice photo!

So happy for you. You have a very caring family dear. Glad they still think of you and love you.
When I am unwell and call my mom she doesn't come to visit me. She says she doesn't care how I feel anymore.
You are lucky to have such a loving family.

No but the house is smaller and easy to keep clean. There is no work that needs to be done to the house. The other house now needs new windows and a new roof. The hurricane decided we needed to spend some money on the house. I am not willing to spend the type of money it needs at this point.

What a nice visit from the kids! I know it's tiring, though. Take care of yourself. Have you finished moving?

Believe it or not, we just moved back to the house in Inverness. We need to be closer to my doctors plus I need larger hallways to be able to get around in a wheelchair. We also sold the house in Summerfield. The first person who looked at it bought it.

Isn't it nice to have a loving family who will make sure you are okay? My family is like that too. I think often about how lucky I am that way because it seems like I run into people all the time who don't get along with family or are completely estranged from them. I can imagine it was tiring, though. I hope you are okay. I feel bad that I don't poke my head in here more often to keep up with what is going on with everybody. If you are not well sounds like it makes sense to downsize your living space. Take care of yourself.
