I wish I had not known her story.
I think I would still have loved this girl's singing had she not been deaf.
But I have my own reasons to believe that when it comes with unadulterated expression in those notes, it is simply awesome. That is not to say her voice quality is not superb. It is what she was blessed with strengthened by practice, and yet not trying to conform to a mold that others have set. Absolutely new territory I think.
Friends Mandy Harvey is the girl I can never stop loving. I found her Over the Rainbow ethereal and hold your breath better than Judy Garland.
I am new to your kind of music. But this girl sets beautiful example of what melody your vocal music is all about. I feel so blessed. Thankful. To YouTube and all those who put in efforts behind the girl, and the girl of course for her spirit and efforts. Enjoy.

What an inspiration she is. "Over The Rainbow" is one of my all-time favorite songs. I shared this version with my sister, who is also a huge fan of "The Wizard of Oz."

Oh how sweet...isn't this version better than the original. Close your eyes, and listen and you feel everything ...how funny because it is the singer who is feeling it and singing it, and we who are going through that. I heard Over the Rainbow rendered by others but none as beautiful as this version.

Try listening to the "Try" which is the one for which she got the golden buzzer. I loved her "Smile" and though "Cheek to Cheek" is popular..there are other numbers that score more with me. I love this girl...all time favorite.

Wow! Amazing vocals. First time i am seeing or hearing her. The fact that she is deaf (I don't think she was born so) makes absolutely no difference to me. Wow again. That is a tonne of talent!

@Gita17112016 .. She has explained it all in some book that is up on kindle and also in some interviews vibrations and math count and when she misses beat or scale those instrument players cover up for her by changing scale

@vandana7 I was listening to her enunciation of the words and I can tell immediately that she was not born deaf. I don't have to have that information separately. What do amazes me though, apart from the purity and clarity of the notes, is the fact that she is facing forward but know the clues for singing in time with the music. Have you noticed? The piano is to the back of her. How does she do it?

I guess what you grow up, has its own charm. We as people from other culture, who have not known Judy Garland until YouTube introduced us, tend to compare with our music and your music. This girl's voice and tone are what touches my heart and makes me quite tranquil for want to better word. :) So her music sort of crosses the barriers between two cultures. My house help, who is uneducated found this very nice.

You followed her before I came up with the post? Aw...and I thought I was making myLotters alert to her voice. I did not upload the AGT links because of that. lol. But she has perfect voice as far as I can see. This is the song I would like to hear when I am in my deathbed...because pain would be easier to bear.
