Do you have a nickname? A lot of persons do have a nickname. When I was growing up, my family called me Allie. Later, my CB handle was Alley Cat. Did you know that the correct word for "nickname" is SOBRIQUET. The sentence is: Nancy was proud of her beautiful red hair, but she hated the SOBRIQUET "carrot top. "

I've heard the word before but for some reason thought it was the name of a menu course - like entree or dessert. I wonder where I got that idea?
