Nowadays, people are using online platform to buy and sell items. The trend of shopping is shifting from the traditional to the new way, which is the online shopping. In parallel to this, E-Money has been established also. This will serve as the currency to pay for products and services purchased online. Me, as a millennial is also shifting to this new way of shopping. I have to open an account to sites where I can deposit money to be converted to E-Money. It is pretty convenient and hassle free. Items can be bought instantly and does not have to queue in line at the cashier. Have you guys tried using E-Money to buy products online? Where else do you use your E-Money?

Yes, that is one of the best example. Here in Philippines, we have PayMaya and Coins.ph.

@peachpurple Payoneer is not popular in our country. Perhaps in US and other countries. What do you use by the way?

E-Money means electronic money. So paypal is one of the examples of E-Money. It is also not limited to paypal. We have in Philippines PayMaya and Coins.ph for example.

I don't think I will shop online because I like to experience shopping in a complex and relax.

@JasperTore yes I like to check it before buying it. Online shopping is also good because less hassle.

@wongchoiyee Online shopping can be good for goods which don't need checking physically. Clothes should be bought in stores and not online since you have to fit first to check that you can wear it comfortably.

Well we have our own preference and some like to physically check the goods before they buy it. Some are just lazy enough to go to the malls so they prefer to buy goods online and be delivered after.

No I haven't. I usually online bank transfer for trusted Instagram sellers. For websites, I use the COD form of payment.

I see. I think it depends on the buyer on what to use as mode of payment.

I have never used it because I have not done purchases online. But it's really convenient. People say it's as safe as the cash in your pocket. That's good.

Hmm, something to think of...I already got paypal where money is deposited to my paypal debit card. It's just like a online debit card to have money deposited, in their site and for you to use. Hmm, I like better to spend and pay. Brain doesn't work the other way pay and then buy. Like a prepaid credit card where you deposit your money into the card and use it like a debit card. Well, it is "a" way of the future. I like debit cards that banks give you and deposit money in the bank. I feel safer with bank deposits and then use debit card for now.

Well debit card is one example also for this e-money. The bank will give you same amount of money online for what you currently deposited in your bank account.
