Pyramid Schemes

Have you ever fallen for a pyramid scheme? They are usually the ones selling Avon, Mary Kay, Pampered Chef, and many more. Nowadays its alot of starting your own online business by selling overpriced items in your online store! The general idea sounds good. But let's get real...would you rather buy the same toothpaste you have always bought for $2.50 or whatever at the local store. Or would you buy $5 toothpaste from Jimmy's Online store? The idea is to start selling under someone else that will share the profit. Then eventually build a team who sells under you. And then each of those individuals build their own team to sell under them and so on. The grand scheme of things is you are at the top of the pyramid with all these people selling under you and you profit from it all. They always start with "How do you see yourself in 10 years?" And then followup with don't you want to grow your own business where you can profit in your sleep? Although I respect these sources of incomes. They are really good if you know a lot of people and are good at network marketing. I just never felt comfortable engaging in these. Has anyone actually worked for any of these types of business? Was it successful? If it wasn't what happened?

Well, the pickup line here in networking is "ARE YOU OPEN MINDED?" Actually networking is good but you really need to be hard working on that kind of scheme because you're selling products and look for members.

Yes, I get that question alot It can be very beneficial if you are willing to work hard. And actually the 3 companies I named above have been doing so for years before it became such a common scam.

@taciaelisepeace I'm familiar with Avon we also have it here but they're just offering products not recruiting a member.

@rheicel Avon is more legit than most. I don't think I have ever had anyone try to recruit me for that either.
