We have a knocker

The day before yesterday my neighbor told us someone was knocking at her bedroom window at 3 in the morning.
That would mean someone would have to walk along the side of her house, all the way to the back and knock.. She thought her son who is on drugs was back in town , he moved out of state recently. He used to come at odd hours and knock on the window to borrow money.
Last night someone came here, and knocked on the living room windows, you would have to be really tall. Or stand on something to reach them. Called the police, but as expected they found no one.
The knocker did move our garbage cans to the other side of the house. This is very scary.I hope they can catch this person, stuff like this really bothers me.

That's scary! I wondered if it was a bird tapping on the window, up until you said the garbage cans we're moved.

Oh no, this was a loud, knock, over and over, and over. I was already scared, last week with a would be robber at the corer store, now this.

I have to admit now, that it bothers me, it is kind of like when people saw clowns on the side of the road.
How do you catch someone that you don't see knocking?

@CookieMonster46 if it wasn't so scary it would be funny like the song words I hear you knocking but you can't come in or when love comes knocking at your door but in your case, it is the window. Sure hope all will be alright.

We have not had the person return, and I don't know if he is at anyone elses home.
I haven't been on here, because I have been dealing with my leg swelling again.

@CookieMonster46 I'm glad to hear that the knocker hasn't returned, although not glad to hear about the swelling.

I know I couldn't sleep after that, I hope they will patrol tonight,, I hope who ever it is switches neighborhoods.

That sounds really scary. Hope you find out what is going on. Have you ever thought about paranormal activity? The reason I am asking is that many moons ago when I first moved into this house everyone who lived in it at the moment heard a noise as if someone was knocking on the outside wall of the house with a log. No one was there and it happened about twice more and then just stopped. To this day I have no idea. Now that I live here alone with my cat I fell completely safe. Our neighbors are quiet and all around and on both sides they have dogs so if anything should be unusual I look out and if the dogs are not interested in my garden then I just ignore the barks. Today not one dog barked. Anyway, I sure hope you solve your mystery and that everything will be alright.
