Made breadfruit balls.

So I’m on a low carb diet but most people in my life are not. I also don’t eat fried foods but I love cooking for people around me. Made these breadfruit balls today and everyone loved them.
Breadfruit is a starchy potato-like food that we cook here in St Lucia. Recipes for this food are unlimited! Made fried balls and everyone loved it!!

Can you share some recipes for breadfruit.We have a breadfruit in our backyard but we only have limited ways of cooking it.We either fry it or boil it with coconut milk.I missed it already but the preparation is a little bit difficult.

How lucky you are to have a tree in your yard! We make a popular breadfruit salad here. Boiled breadfruit and chop into cubes. Sauté onions, garlic, parsley and mixed vegetables and add shredded saltfish (cod). Salt and pepper to taste. Mix in with breadfruit. Add mayo and bam! Super easy and quick and very tasty!

I boiled and grated the breadfruit. Sautéed onions, garlic, parsley and added it to the grated breadfruit. Salt and pepper to taste. One egg to bind all the ingredients and some grated cheese. Rolled them up into balls. Dusted with flour and fried in oil.
