I, my son, and my sister went out of the house at 7:30 last night to witness the blue moon, bloody moon and eclipse in one. I took a picture of the moon as it was rising above with the house as its backdrop. So enthusiastic was I that I took some pictures using the camera of my phone. They were great. I thought the eclipse will come a bit later so I went inside the house. Then after our supper I went outside at the back of our house and yes...the eclipse was already starting. It was half moon already and the color was turning bloody red. I had my phone so I took pictures again. I and my sister were surprised because the shots of the moon showed the full moon. Hahaha! This is the disadvantage of not using the right camera to picture a rare celestial event. I still posted the pictures I took on Facebook and they still gained some likes. Would you like to share your photos of the blue bloody moon using your phone?

Nah, I did not witness it last night because I was too busy doing some editing on my Online Page. But I did go outside around 12 midnight and I cannot see anything from down here because of the thick skies at night.

maybe the skies there were cloudy. we also had some clouds but during eclipse time, it was cloudless in that side of the sky. the stars shone brightly when the earth's shadow was cast on the moon.

@ridingbet I think so. I never see anything because of those dark clouds.

I wasn't able to see the super moon last night or the blood in blood out as I was in the temple praying.

there are some pictures shared on FB about the images of the blue bloody super moon. i think you can see these when you are active on FB, or if you have time.

Great that you had the chance witnessing the moon. I was already asleep that time last night as I was too tired and sleepy.

I got the shots over there as well, but it's not much. I use the usual old android.

It was cloudy here that night, so I didn't see the moon. That is a pretty photo of it with your camera phone.

My phone doesn't take good enough photos of the moon. You are lucky to have seen all that!

well actually, that picture of the moon did not show the real eclipse. the shadow of the earth nearly covered the entire moon but that was what appeared in the image. i just looked at the awesome event but it was not translated in the picture.
