I was traipsing through five minute history and found a headline that caught my attention. Apparently, 226 years before Princess Diana was to marry her own Prince of Wales, another lady by the same name (and in the same family) was considered to marry her own Prince of Wales.
That plot was foiled by the Prime Minister of the time who wanted the Prince of Wales to marry a European nobelwoman.

It is very sad what she went through, though it appears she had a happy life for a short time...

Pale was the fashion back then!
I just wonder how many paintings were "photoshopped".
You know, the subject asked the painter to paint them a little more.. fairly.
