Many persons have interesting jobs with unusual names. Here are three names that I wanted to add to my vocabulary. For instance, a cooper is a barrel maker. A wainwright is a wagon maker. A vintner is a wine seller.

I knew the first two and had heard of the third but didn't really know what it was.

Virginia has a lot of vineyards. I have visited several. But new ones are being planted all over the state. Two very near our house. It takes a few years after planting the vines to actually produce the grapes, but lots of new vineyards are opening for business around this state all the time. I guess the soil is good for growing grapes.
