Politics over the Honour Killing of the Youth in Delhi!

An innocent young man was killed in the name of ‘Honour Killing’ by the family members of the girl’s family who was in love with her. His fault was that, he belonged to different religion than that of the girl. It was a brutal murder which took place in public where the boy’s throat was slit open. This was a crime and the criminals should be punished by the Government. Now instead of condemning such heinous act the local Politicians are blowing this case out of proportion to make it an issue and to get Votes from both the religious group. They are demanding a compensation of ten million rupees from the State Government that is to be given to the family of the boy. This is a case of criminal act and the guilty should be punished. Instead of this the politicians are giving it a colour of Martyrdom for their vested interests and putting a hole in the Government treasury. That is the way the politicians in India behave, they don’t want to leave any chance which can fetch them votes by which they can win the elections. I sometimes feel that Indian Political leaders are too mean and selfish. I really have no idea if any Political leader from any other country can behave like this? What you say?
