My boss is an "angel"

Okay! So i have a boss who were so generous at all time. I feel like i don't deserve to be treated like a special one. But she is so kindhearted that comes to the point that it in't pleasant anymore. I know i am just upset 'coz her kindness is really out of place. My co-workers worked for her for too long like 5 to 8 years and i am only new to the company for just 1 year and 2 months. She trusted us and let us whatever we want to do. That i think were not right. She's our boss. I understand she don't know some company SOP or whatsoever. She also has a favorite employee that opens my mind in so many things. It creates a wall and conflicts to them. Old employees like to catch her attention and each of them were backfightering each other. I proved so many things and i dont really know where to stand and/or What to react. I am just doing my stuffs and work and let them what they want to do but sometimes i really pity my boss. I realized, it's not always better to be kind always. ??

If you are kind, remain so. People will take advantage of you sometimes, but don't let it bother you. They might call you a fool for being kind, don't let it change you. I'd love to have a boss like yours.

Right. It's up to us how far we let them abuse our kindness.

That is one of the best quality any boss must have. treating the sub ordinate with love, affection and showing concern for them apart from appreciating their efforts and work, fetches lot more to the boss than expected which otherwise would have gone other way round. Love and caring can fetch many fruitful results than scolding and becoming stern! Those days have gone when bosses used to like villains, today they are taught how to be humane and treat the sub ordinates and counter parts before they are inducted! Nice to know that you have one of those bosses with you and you are enjoying the work! God bless!

Well, I think she needs to be a leader. It shouldn't be having favoritism. With the act of the colleagues, I will just ignore them.

@Moiyah I think that's the right thing to do. I had some experiences like this. In fact, I just do my work and nothing else. Then, I took off from work without thinking about my colleagues and boss.
