That belgianfries site is cool, and funny... is that your own site, or is there a Belgian Fries Association or something?

They're a bit thicker, a lot tastier and very important: they're made of real potatoes ... And very importont : we eat them with mayonnaise ...

I had been to US, Australia and New Zealand and I have tasted the french fries. Now it is available in India too at KFC. What is the difference between the Belgian French fries and the authentic french fries?

KFC, McDo and so on really aren't that authentic ... Belgian Fries are made of real potatoes, not mashed, and they are baked twice. They are a bit thicker and a lot tastier, and we eat them with mayonaise in stead of ketchup !

I like my homemade ones the best. I make yam fries and potatoe fries. Have you ever made your own?

I only eat homemade fries. The stuff they serve you in fastfood and other restaurants can hardly be called fries. In Belgium we cook 'em twice in fat, not oil.

What exactly are Belgian "french fries", and what distinguishes them from "regular" french fries such as those made by Ore-Ida or found in McDonald's? I've never heard of Belgian fries before.

McDonalds Fries - McDonalds Fries
I've never tried belgian french fries. This is actually the first time I've even heard of them. Are they made differently from traditional american french fries? My favorite is McDonalds fries.
