I think that things in life that are unforgettable and leave behind lovely memories are the best things of all. Well in 1951 the best song was “Unforgettable” sung by Nat King Cole. This song has been featured in many movies and TV shows. It is a lovely song that reminds us to keep our hearts open to love and always remember those we love with fondness.
“Unforgettable” was written by Irving Gordon. Originally the chosen title was “Uncomparable”. Nat King Cole sang the original and most memorable version of this song. In 1991 this song was edited and remixed to create it as a duet with his daughter, Natalie. It won three awards at the Grammy Awards of 1992 – Song of the Year, Record of the Year and Best Traditional Pop Vocal Performance. In 2000 Nat King Cole’s original recording was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame.
