Joe Leeway had exited the band so the Thompson Twins were now twins Tom Bailey and Alannah Currie. Crazy hair was still there but the synthpop sound was gone. “Get That Love” has a guitar intro.

Written by Bailey and Currie, “Get That Love” may not be synthpop but typical TT in lyric being positive in not giving up on love. From the album “Close to the Bone,” “Get That Love” charted #31 US and #66 UK.

It's not "full-blown" "synthpop," but it has elements of "typical" Thompson Twins music. And their music is so, as you put it, positive.

I had forgotten all about this one, which is weird because we used to play it on the station.
