Yesterday I wrote a post my son having one episode of slight fever in the afternoon for several days and I had him checked up yesterday morning. Well the news came down on me when the doctor said my son needs to be admitted because of pneumonia on his lower basal lungs. He is also a little dehydrated. What I thought that he is having an asthma attack gone wrong. I never see it coming. And the news cannot sink in my mind for a while. Though I know it is for the best, it is just difficult. Now we are at the hospital and we spent our first night last night.

But why would he be hospitalized? I had pneumonia and I was just given the antibiotics. After taking it for 7 days, I feel better. At least, I only spent on my medication.

I don't trust what these Dr says, they are just making money out of patients; I trust Nature; I do yoga and keep fit. I used to have Asthma, but yoga helped me to get over it for free, otherwise I was using inhaler.

@rakski Do Pranayam and Kapalbhanti ; they can heal. I was a very sick patient in my childhood and teenage; but now I am healthy because of Yoga.

@yugocean you can be true there but of course I do not want to compromise my son's health. But I do want us to be more active. I am interested in the yoga you are doing to keep the asthma away, because I am asthmatic too. And I want to be lose weight and be inhaler free too

It's a good thing you brought him to the hospital. A fever coupled with any other symptoms is always something to worry about and should be taken seriously especially with kids.

Yes. I was not expecting it to be this way but this is better than not doing anything at all. Thanks

This could be a variation of the flu. I am glad you decided to see the doctor, it is always what it's better to do.
