Raw eggs in your hair??

I watched a YouTube video earlier of this girl who put raw eggs in her hair to make it grow. She marjed her skin where her hair length was ay before applying it to her hair. She mixed it with olive oil, covered head and went to bed the next day, about 11 hours later she washes her hair out and measures again, her hair was about an inch longer! I was surprised. Has anyone else tried this?

Must have been a very uncomfortable sleep with raw eggs in her hair. I don't buy the idea that it made her hair grow an inch during the night. The average rate of hair growth is about 1.25 centimeters or 0.5 inches per MONTH. Those eggs would have been put to better use making an omelette.

I know, and with her hair type it takes even longer to grow. I have the same hair type as her and it took me 4 years to grow 11 inches. An omelette would have been much better and would help her hair grow with all that protein.

There is some trick involved in this video...how can this be possible? one inch in eleven hours ....it is impossible! Please stay away from such misleading videos dear @tasiaelisepeace ! Thanks!

You have a point there dear @taciaelisepeace by eating egg you are having protein source added to your body and that is beneficial for your hair follicles to nurture your hair from inside! Remember no external things can nurture your hair follicles what all they can do is they can alter the texture of your hair to some extent! Thanks!

@AKRao24 You said it very well! And perhaps eggs changed the texture making it appear longer.

Oh I don't believe it for a second haha. Im just wondering if that was even worth it. Seems more beneficial to your hair if you eat it.

I think people use all the tricks to make money through YouTube videos. Raw egg is good to conditioning your hair. The bad part is, it may smells your hair.

I have never seen it in actual hair products. I saw a facial mask that included egg whites, I couldn't get myself to try it.

I strongly believe that the food we intake gives us more benefits ...all outer packs may make hair look silky but not give strength to hair.so don't believe this.

I think so too. Stuff such as eggs which are right h in protein and vitamins can only help us if we consume it and leave it to our bodies to benefit from it.
