It Was a Very Lazy Day

Snow days and rainy days just make me feel like I'm entitled to take the day off.
It's a very rainy foggy day here today and I didn't feel like doing much of anything and it wasn't nice enough to go anywhere.
So, I took the day off and read my book for awhile and then worked a bit on my crafts. My daughter was working on some things to sell in her Etsy shop so she was busy.
After dinner we're going to look for a good movie to watch tonight or we'll catch something on Hallmark.
That was my exciting day in a nutshell.

I had a few things to do earlier today. But the rest of the day was lazy for me as well. I actually fell asleep for a bit. I came here on MyLot and had a great dinner. Now I am stuffed and here again online. Where I like to be. It rained on and off here and more rain tomorrow. But I have nice plans on Valentines day to take my girlfriend out to an old style Italian Restaurant. So I am looking forward to that.

@Marilynda1225 I hope so. She does nothing with me. That bothers me. She always seems happier going to her sisters. Wow, and she stays there a week at a time. And never calls me. What kind of a relationship is this. I often question myself about that. But I am strong and willing to fight for what I want. If at some point it don't work out, well, goodbye. That is how I have to be.

I changed the beds, washed three loads of clothes, folded and put them away. I made 7 pints of pickled turkey smoked sausage and 4 pints pickled pork smoked sausages. I made home made chicken salad too.

I drove my daughter to Halifax to catch a flight home. The flight is delayed until tomorrow. She is in a hotel(thanks Westjet), I am home. Four plus hours driving.

Our snow has stopped and the weather was pretty clear. Tomorrow, we're promised more snow, which is normal for this time of year. I went outside for a while with Kobe, did some banking earlier in the morning. We ate an early dinner, just leftovers warmed up. It has been a relatively quiet day, for me.

We went to see Lion last night and enjoyed that and this morning we've done some more chainsawing and cleaning up of fallen trees. The rest of the day will be pretty laid back with friends coming in the evening to share a roast and hopefully we'll play a board game together.

Mine pretty much stacked up to the same except for a little visit from our darling granddaughter who is going to be four very soon. So we had a n hour or two of activity and now things have quieted down a bit- lol! Your supposed to hibernate a bit in Winter anyways.
