“Come lay your head down on the stone
So cool and white and welcome home
Oh, lose your troubles
Ease your pain
Soothe your soul in golden rain”
“Don’t Mess with Doctor Dream” is the most unusual of Thompson Twins songs being anti-drug in theme. Such songs rarely go over in the US so this warning of drug addiction dangers went uncharted there but scaled up to UK #15. This song is more of a rocker as the band was leaving synthpop behind. “Don’t Mess with Doctor Dream” is on the “Here’s to Future Days” album.

A classic, yet underappreciated Thompson Twins tune.

I hope people value there lives more when they are being bless and don't get overwhelmed by emotions. and I hope people that influence them to get bad start thinking that their fate is doom already.
