I hate ads. I watch a lot of tv and like to tape most things in my DVR so I can FF through the commercials. At night they are even worse. About two minutes of the actual show and then ten minutes of commercials. Sometimes the commercials are so long that I have forgotten what I am watching by the time the show comes back. I really enjoy the TCM or PBS and such channels that show an entire film all the way through without any commercials. Your thoughts.

I know it's annoying. I find too many commercials too in movies I watch. There are more commercials than the actual show

Yes, night time is prime time for infomercials and long commercials. I like to skip commercials as well, but sometimes will let them play just so that I can get snacks, take a potty break, etc. You would think commercials would be obsolete now, but it's still a way to make money for the networks so...

@ScribbledAdNauseum ......I won't pay extra to eliminate them. Just wish they didn't go on for so long each time they come on.

It's just as bad on the radio. But I mostly listen to Jazz.fm, which is listener supported and only has 4 minutes of commercials an hour. Even that seems too much, sometimes.
