Fear is the one thing that keeps us in the dark.

Living in fear is a bad thing. But it is normal to have certain types of fears. Living these days is full of many dangers but also has some silver linings around the dark clouds. Knowledge is the gateway to wisdom and it often conquers fear. People who are afraid often hide from reality. They also tend to crawl into a shell of both solitude or denial. The unknown is always out there. But sometimes light shines on things and makes the fear go away. It takes time to face certain things. For instance, it takes courage and determination and support from others to deal with things like financial problems, health problems, relationship problems. They can all be sometimes more than the average person can take when they occur like rain that turns into a thunderstorm. Every day I tell myself, I know I am afraid, but I will try to keep an optimistic outlook today. I will try to be the best that I can be and in turn, do something nice for the ones I love. It is sometimes best to have emotional support but when we are faced with uncertainty, it is always good to just stay positive and try to maintain a level head about us. The times we are living are different than the times our parents lived in and of course there are sometimes just too many things going on so it is necessary to drop some things for a short time to focus on the things we can do and take each day as a blessing. Nobody knows when that comet will hit or the ice on the polar caps will completely melt away. We do know that we can face each day with courage in spite of fear and that is the hardest challenge facing every person on the planet. You are not alone. We are all in this together. Sometimes it is easier to give out advice than to actually follow our own. I know that for sure. The final words are that boredom is simply not an option. Not today. There are too many things that matter that need our attention and we can no longer just stand by and let them continue to try and make trouble for us. Things that matter could be as simple as what to have for dinner when company comes over, or will I pass my exams at school or my medical checkup? This and all the things the government is doing to try to spend a trillion dollars that it doesn't have in the first place, Give me a break. I would do good to get enough money saved to fix our car and our roof, let alone balance the deficit.

Guess we just have to focus on the most important thing at that moment and doing our best.

Though fear, anxiety and uncertainty are inborn, we can control them to a great extent. I do what I can and then accept the consequences. Lots are not in our control like our health but how we face them depend on us - siva

Let us not allow fear to restrict whatever things we love to do or places to visit.
