Just Trash Pick Up

I did go to work at the rental house today but all I did was gather the trash and put it in garbage bags. All that is in the closed in garage area.
What I did was put what stuff they have left there on one side of the room and the trash all together closer to the door.
Its took me about an hour and Tony talked to my uncle that came up and waiting in the car after he left, he was not feeling well today.
Next I went to walmart for a few things for the house. I got a new toilet seat, just because, and I got new door knobs for the entries, I usually always do when I do not get all the keys back. I got a small thing of sheet rock patch and a couple more tubes calking.
Then I bought me and my sister a shirt each from the $3.00 rack of clearance clothing and I bought Tony two short sleeve collared shirts he wanted.
Tonight I will make my list of things to do and apply myself to getting them accomplished.

Wow, that's a lot of trash that family left behind! When we moved out of our home, they immediately changed the locks. That's pretty common, for rental units.

@sharon6345 When Bruce and I moved out of our apartments, we scrubbed the walls and wooden floors down, before we left. It looked better than the first day we moved in!

@sharon6345 We only lived there a month, so there wasn't anything that was actually dirty. I kept it clean, all the time.

I always did too, Plus I am not so sure I have that much trash in 6 months.

Yes this one should, if I hired the work out, no way. But me doing most all the work it should cover the costs.

@andriaperry We actually had to use shovels.... who lives like that!? Worse no running water so had to bring it in. Then again why would there be water when there was no tub or sink?? Crazy people!

@andriaperry That's the sort of mess we saw a lot of when we were helping with VA foreclosure cleanups.

I dont either and what gets me is I never saw that trash on last inspection, maybe she saved it up for me?!?!

Do you find that when your renters leave they leave it in bad condition? My sister and brother-in-law have a rent house, and the last people who rented left it really dirty. They just rented it out again, and this time I think the people who live there care more.

I say its half and half, I have had some horrible messes to clean up, so bad new carpet was ripped up by hired help, they were gagging, because of dog sh^t, and I have had people clean it up and all I did was hung signs to rent it again.

that's alot of trash. Monday I mostly read. I did a little of work. I hope to get some work done today.
