Sometimes I catch myself being one of those people that just because I live in the United States I believe there is only one way to call something... Example being I've always heard it called french kissing but supposedly in France it's called English kissing. Now I don't know if it's true or not but it's interesting.

I didn't know they call it English kissing because my French friend never told me so. We both agreed it's French kissing or what they call un baiser amoureux. Have to ask him again that. Where did you learn that it's called English kissing in France?

@topffer If French kissing is a kiss with tongue, English kiss might be a kiss without tongue?

What are french fries called in france? American fries? Freedom fries? In america, a brand of mayonaisse east of the missisippi is called Helmans mayonaisse, west of mississippi its called Best Foods mayonaisse. Same everything but name on bottle. So, its not uncommon for something to be called different things, its not just an american compared to another country thing.
