When I got the tenant last night using, Tony`s phone, I mentioned I would not be back to the rental till Thursday, but that was not exactly the truth, so guess what she did?
She came and got the pool table, the head board and a few other things, she left the trash as I suspected she would.
BUT.....
She did something else.
She locked the door so she could not get back in! We had the agreement to leave that part unlocked and I locked up the main part of the house, so she could come and get her stuff and the trash.
When I got finished painting for the day I texted her letting her know she accidentally locked the door but I unlocked it for her.
I will see what she has in mind.... Sneaky one she is!

No and Yes. They have 14 days to move their stuff before I can get rid of it. BUT I cannot MAKE them take it.
This makes twice I rented to her, last time she did not do this. I will never rent to her ever again.

oh no she definitely is sneaking and thinking she can beat around the bush. I hope she does not do this to you again and if she does not come for her stuff I would get rid of it if it's past the time you gave her to get it. I don't know how you do it. My dad used to be a landlord and got out of it as he was tired of people not paying him and trashing the apartments.

Ahh well that does make sense see but it seems she's taking only usable stuff and leaving you to get rid of the garbage it just irks me.

No she is not bothering me, the more she gets the less I have to get hauled off.
Me too, the 2 mall bedrooms are not finished and have paint spots, that is why he carpet but I think I will paint th floors in those rooms so later f I want to sand them down and refinish them I can. I probably will put another clear coat on before renting it.

I would love to do that, just once to a tenant.

Sounds like she's lazy if she's going to such lengths to avoid taking her trash! I don't get people sometimes.

I take it she is the type that will complain when she doesn't get her deposit back?

No, she never asks. She knows she is nasty in the house and I have told her she knows better.

I'm so glad all our out-of-town tenants are good ones this time. I am so glad we got rid of the Ventura building. It was a constant headache and most of our bad tenants and vacancies happened there. I really don't like being a landlord.
