Hell, normally I hate this thing. I know why I do not, listened to the Distillers. This lady is no Brody Dalle. Then they compare her to Courtney Love. No Courtney Love Either. Maybe it is the less flawed version of them both we like. Give her enough time. No one is saintly and why would you want them to be saintly in punk rock. Just maybe somewhat sober when they make music or leave the personal life behind. Brody, We over it. Time to move on, make us some great music once again. This lady may sound similar vocally, but I hear her branching off in her own way. The true also know she is young, but not dumb. She is getting her feet under her and think her voice is just similar and probably loved both of those ladies at one time. She keeps it real though, can tell by her lyrics. To many people go on sound. Was not always meant to be thrash, at some point the music was going to evolve or why make music? They will find their footing better than this but might need people to lay off. Just saying, unless it is support. Ever Try it, seemed to work for Rancid, support being. Tim can never really sound like anyone. For the record The Interrupters were getting tagged as Tim's Brody Dalle in Aimee Interrupter because voice was similar to the band Distillers, now Brenda is and cannot remember her last name. Did they ever think maybe they just like punk music. Did they ever think maybe that is the only way their voice sounds. Did they ever think these ladies fit in only one style of music with that style of voice. No we just jerks who judge and never put out a record ourselves. My opinion Brody is still the best, but give this lady her chance. Aimee did a great job of separating herself, stick it people, who have nothing to do but destroy people's dreams.
