So today at work we had our Valentine's day party. It went okay--it was different than times past, as the new head teacher was in charge. It was a bit more "stifled" than in times past to me. Anyway, when I got home today, there were of course messages on the answering machine--two from the lady who drives me to work in the morning--which, while driving me home she told me were going to be there -- and one from the physical therapist at the hospital telling me that I had an appointment with her tomorrow (I already had had to cancel the first appointment with her due to the ride service I called not showing up). I called one of my co workers for my boss' number, then called my boss, who said that they really needed me at school tomorrow, so I had to cancel the physical therapy appointment for a second time. I was trying to find out about Lyft from different sources, as I didn't trust the last ride source I tried (they never showed up) and realized I had to call Lyft like right before I left for my appointment for a ride. So...no physical therapy tomorrow, but when I do go, I guess I'll be using Lyft. Hope your day has gone well in your part of myLot land !

Gee, your day sounds like one of mine! I sometimes get the feeling we're actually in a giant movie and there is a bunch of people laughing at all the problems we have. I know they'd be rolling on the floor laughing at a lot that goes on in my life! In Montana I used the bus service. I don't know if it was the weather or the service but I remember the buses being darned cold in the winter! I was very happy to move back to California along the central coast where there isn't "snow"! My day was as I like it, peaceful and fun. I worked the antique store I have a booth space in. I love working the shop! It's only for a little over three hours one day a week and I love interacting with the customers. Then after work I went to one of my favorite places on earth, the hardware store. It sounds strange coming from a lady, but I design and make teddy bears and I frequently need parts...this time its legs and feet for a bird I'm designing and making. Bill, my love, is used to these trips so he finds a patio chair and kicks back while I go wild. When I get the bird finished I'll post a picture. After my fun in the hardware store we went to dinner. After dinner I had Bill stop at Starbucks and I delivered a Valentine's bear to a special one of the coffee makers. She always has a happy greeting for me and she's a real sweetheart! Anyhow she opened it as I was leaving and from the happy shouts I picked the right one of my bears to tag and sign for her. I was wearing a huge smile when I got back to the car! What are you going through PT for? I had to have it when my left knee was replaced, but not for the right. It's a huge pain in the neck getting the scheduling synchronized. Plus, for me, I live an hour from the nearest town so we don't make the trip on a whim. So I had to schedule in the afternoon after other appointments. I was so relieved to finish the PT.
