Another Nasty Shooting here

A couple of years ago we had the big shooting in the night club here in Florida, today we were hit again but this time in a school. I thought when we moved from the northeast between New York, Newark and Philadelphia we would be free of such horrific problems but it doesn't seem to stop. I just do not understand the minds of such sick people that do all these horrific things.

I don't think anyone understands those kind of people who do such atrocities.

You are right. I cannot picture what it feels like to be a parent of any of these kids or the parent of the person that did the shooting.

This is very, very sad. Such a horrific thing to happen anywhere, let alone at a school.

I imagine that all the kids that were there are going to have nightmares for a very long time.

@JudyEv - It is horrible that it keeps happening in the United States, and our leaders do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. It makes me sick.

@ramapo17 - Some of these kids will suffer from Post-Traumatic-Shock for the rest of their lives. We must do better as a nation.

@ramapo17 Everyone can sell fire arms in the United States, even the Pawn Shops. Who check who buy from those shops? You have very loose laws.

@ramapo17 No, it is forbidden. Right now hunting is not allowed, from August to September hunting hours are from 5 am to 7:30 pm., during October and November 7 am to 6:30 pm, December and January 7 am to 5:30 pm. From February to July hunting is not allowed, due to baby animals that must be protected.

The daughter of one of my best friends from high school was stuck inside that school for many hours yesterday during the entire ordeal. Thankfully, she was safe, but I can imagine the angst my friend experienced knowing that his daughter was stuck in the school and in serious danger. Luckily, he was able to keep in touch with her throughout the day by cellphone. It just breaks my heart that tragedies like this keep occurring.

It is so awful. I can only imagine what your friend or any other relative of the deceased are feeling and even the parents of the shooter.

@moffittjc Very well said Jeff. Look at how the rioting was going on after the election. Sure not all the people were happy or not after the election but the way some people were causing riots and ruining personal property of other fellow Americans was a disgrace. Some of the adults doing all the damage had their young children with them. What does that tell the kids of tomorrow. I wouldn't want any of them running our country. Whatever one believes, we are all here for the same reason, to have peace and safety in our daily lives. I was sickened to see so many young children smashing store windows and doing so much damage. Those parents should be dealt with.

It is a shame that some young teens have decided to take out their anger by going to schools and shooting down teachers and students in cold blood.

@Deepizzaguy I have been watching all the news reports this week about it. Dr Phil had 2 days about it on tv and some of the kids were on it today. So very sad.

@ramapo17 Dying in a school shooting is worse than being bullied.
