What's your point of view on Alexander the Great?

From what You may have learnt from (Greek)History, and from what you may have read on your own on Alexander the Great, did he really do a task at international level, or the opposite? How would you image History and future of Civilization with or without him? (N. B Al. Great died from bite of a snake 33 years old)
Pls justify your point of view to the measure you know (I mean details)..

I don't have much of information on this subject...now since there is a series of shows being tele casted on one of the Indian Tv channels about him ...I can come back and discuss something about him after some time dear @KATKAT1992! Thanks!

Yes I know but like many written histories it is hard to believe the Wikipedia as it is the article mentioned there contributed by many authors and awaiting the confirmation of some facts in the form of documentation evidence dear @KATKAT1992 ! Thanks!
