A Wasted Post

I so want to talk about the school shooting, but keep telling myself to leave it alone. You already told them this is how society is going to be from now on. Yet, do see people get more infuriated at the issue each time it happens and yet still nothing is done about it because 5 percent of the population controls 95 percent. Oh well, had to get that out or would have exploded. America has to take a hit. You not the great country you claim to be and you might as well be a third world country if going to allow innocent kids to be killed. Because guns are more precious than kids. Hey, my beer is more precious than anything, but I still set it down and help a kid up if I see them fall. What the hell you letting happen to your own kids? No wonder the world is so selfish. Our life's mean nothing and that has been the number one answer from problem kids since the beginning of time. Way to show them America. You just made that true by defending guns and not your own children. Sorry, I know this post will die a quick death. Like I said, I wasted my time.

@crossbones27 "5 percent of the population controls 95 percent" and that is one of the best lines I have ever seen here on MyLot. I can honestly feel your passion and anger in this post. Even if I am the only person to read this, I enjoyed it. It's a hard truth to swallow. I don't want to offend anyone here when I say this but so much of this world is just crumbling and it's for a lot of reasons people either don't know or refuse to believe.

As I always say, it only takes one. So thank you in that regard. Believe your country went through this struggle at one time. Probably not anything like this because we let it fester where you guys nipped it in the bud right away so to speak. Be happy your leadership was much better than ours because we infected and so infected people cannot even admit it. Can't solve any problems if you cannot even admit you have one.

@crossbones27 I will admit that I have compared a lot of our laws to American laws and feel very happy to be here and not there. Don't get me wrong! I'd love to visit there one day but as far as living there....no. Not everything is perfect here though! I just feel the government and......"higher up" peeps don't give a flying toss about it's people. As long as they are making their money then they are content.

@VivaLaDani13 Indeed, like they have taken all value out of life and made it about just making money.

True, but when did they start ruling the world in modern times like this. Seems like evil people are in the majority and running our once stable systems into the ground.

I won't say it was wasted - what you are saying comes from the heart. To be honest, if I was a parent in America - I would definitely home school my kids if I could not afford to send them to a private school.

Thanks, at least someone is listening. I would not blame anyone for having that mindset if we are going to make this our way of life.
