Monarchy or Democratic?

What form of government between the two would you choose? I like to see members of the royal family. The customs, tradition, their riches, their ways and behavior. It's wonderful right? But power is concentrated in one family only that even father and son fight for the throne. This is a tragic fact. So, I think a democratic form of government is still better because people get to choose. People are more free.

You can oppose monarchy and republic, but opposing monarchy to democracy is a nonsense : all monarchies are not absolute, there are mainly today parliamentary/constitutional monarchies which are democratic regimes where the king has no or very low powers.

@renicemae Yes, UK is a monarchy. For France we had a revolution 2 centuries ago where we sent the king and the queen to the guillotine. Never learned that ?
