Done a little more on the sock

Done a little more on the sock For some reason, I started to knit a sock and hopefully a pair of socks, someday soon. So far I’ve already posted my progress with this sock, doing the cuff and then the leg. Now that I finally finished the heel part of the sock after doing the shaping the wrong way round. I did notice after about 6 rows, so not too much to go back and start again. I just have the foot part to do then do the shaping for the toes. I’m getting exciting because when I tried it on it fits lovely, so nice.

My mother could knit socks with five needles in the dark (cinema).

Thank you, it's hard to knit at night time with being a dark colour and fine stitches.

It's looking really good. I hate having to undo knitting - much harder to pick up the stitches than with crochet. But I don't really fancy crocheted socks.

Is it hard for you to redo things things if you see something is wrong and have to start all over again?

Yes, but I do, I have to, I can't send something out with a mistake in. Sometimes it happens when I' taking to do too much at once, like here and knitting or watching something and I'm doing a hard pattern, I should really learn but haven't yet.

I've never tried to knit socks. One of my daughters has. She was quite happy with the results.
