Heading to the pet store with my young friend. What are you doing on this windy Sunday?

My young friend, now nine, has decided that we should go cycling. We are heading to the pet and pet supply store, where I can buy some corn and snow pea seeds, and we can both talk to the parakeets. This morning, I met an adult friend and band mate, Michael, at Guitar Center. He bought a cable and I bought a gig bag for my new(ish) bass. Later, I will grade in-class assignments, listen to music, and sip wine. What are you up to on this windy and cool Sunday?

Sounds pretty. It was cool (md-50s F) and windy as we cycled, but not cold.

Sounds like a nice day and a full one too. I'm taking it easy with my back again today. I may give up and call my doc for physical therapy tomorrow. It snowed a bit here today.

What part of your back hurts? I do "Downward Dog" for my lower back and it works. I also just hang on my chinning bar, and that helps too. I used to be 6'4" and now I'm 5'8". Well, that's an exaggeration, but that's how it feels.

@JamesHxstatic I'm not sure where I got mine. But it's between my bedroom and my bathroom. Hanging is good.

@TheHorse I am doing some yoga stretches, yes. It is my lower back, almost surely muscle. I am still 5' 11" , I think. A chinning bar would be good, will have to find one nearby unless we get snow.

It's been a beautiful day here in England, sunny and crisp. We went out for lunch with the family, but haven't done much else.

I worked the morning shift at work, and then picked up lunch before coming home. After lunch I planted some more veggies. I now have tomatoes, basil, onions, jalepenos and spinach planted. The tomatoes and basil have already sprouted and are growing like crazy. Right now watching National Lampoons.

@thislittlepennyearns In Summer we can grow just about anything. I grow corn, green beans and sunflowers. Tomatoes too. In Winter, we can do snow peas and other kinds of peas, as well as things that I don't know about.

It's already Monday morning here. But my Sunday? Was my 40th birthday but I was working at my father's desk, had dinner with family and friends. And was wishing somebody would give me a pet dog as a gift.

"Now pea seeds"?... I think you bought snow pea seeds and enjoyed your cycling with your young friend. I spend great part of my Sunday decluttering mom's apartment. Little by little we are emptying it.

@TheHorse If the apartment was not in another country it would be easy. We spend 3 hours on the road to go back and forth every Sunday. I am very tired.

@KristenH Oh, he's a he. His mother has let him grow his hair long, and planted an earring in his left ear, but he's entirely into boy things, like cycling, digging in the dirt, fixing loudspeakers, and playing with cars. He knows the modern cars we see on the road better than I do. I help him learn the history of vintage American cars (his mom is from Croatia) like Cameros and Mustangs.

I did some of that today as well. But at the end of the day, I realized I'd: bought a gig bag for my bass, bought a new subwoofer for my stereo, played with my young friend for five hours, planted some corn and snow pea seeds, gone to Trader Joe's, and gone dust bunny hunting. I was a monster. Time to relax, turn on some music, and grade papers.

It's a cloudy and drizzly day here in Honolulu, Oahu, so I decided t stay in and enjoy some tv shows today. I hope it changes weather this week for I bus and got to do some errands and shopping! Sounds like you found what you were shopping for and that's great! Just got a flash flood warning buzz on my cell, so I definitely will stay home today. Glad you had fun today!

@TheHorse It was raining kind of hard with a few rumbles of thunder and a few strikes of lightning that lit up the skies. Just now for about a half hour the rain stopped, whew. No flash flood warnings came on tv, so guess we're okay. The outside atmosphere is so fresh and clear, though chilly air swishes with the breezes. I had to close my windows because it was getting a bit too cold. It seems the rains are just going to fill our water wells, luckily. As long as the breezes comes up the floods won't happen.

I will basically just stay at home and make homemadr foods. I missed cooking. Today, I will cook fried salmon with tomato and lettuce salad with vinegrette. I will also make pancakes and muffins for my little angel.
