Choking

Philippines
February 20, 2018 8:02pm CST
The first time I've noticed it was early in the morning were I'm supposed to walk him. It didn't last long though because he kept choking. I've observed him for the day but it could be just the green phlegm because I saw him having a running nose. I have also made a special moringa/drumstick tea last night. But maybe it's got something to do with his collar. I would buy him a new one.

Are you sure he didn't eat a bone or something and a sliver isn't stuck in his throat. Collars don't usually make the choke

Hello @cintol I admit I had feed him with chicken but I've sliced them before I even give it to him. Right now he's fine.

Thats good, just don't give him chicken bones, those will sliver and stick. Not good for dogs, most dangerous bone for them

Dogs usually don't get chocked by a collar unless they're too tight for them. He's sick.

@Letranknight2015 Actually there's no real medication for dogs .The medication that vet gives when a dog is ill, is actually the same as humans. Only the dosage is different.

You cannot take chances with that choking. Better you consult a Vet.

Green phlegm? That's the sign of a serious infection! He needs medical care:( Do you have a proper doctor for him?

I haven't really seen that phlegm just yet @kobesbuddy It's like he was choking and then swallows it later.
