@Icydoll SInce I started here I always take pictures through my smartphone and post it here. I just take a lot of pictures and when there is a need for a picture I choose which one is appropriate.

That's best thing to use own pictures ..due lack of camera quality some people find difficult to post their own pictures.if can opt these too. I'm glad if it is helpful to you :)

I mostly go for wikimedia commons images. They are free but you should give the owner credit by posting their link along with the image.

It is best to use your own photos from your phone or device. I try to never use likenesses that I saw online on Pixabay or anywhere else. I found that the silhouette section of Pixabay is helpful. Shadows can convey meaning without showing faces of persons. There used to be free images on Morgue File. I don't know if it is still around.
