Ice Out

Two days ago it was 80 degrees (27 C, rounded up) here. Yesterday was 22 degrees (6 C), and that has continued today, only now it's drizzling, and the ground is covered in ice. My dog, Annabelle, is hating it because she loathes getting her feet wet. I mean she was pretty much walking bowlegged this morning, on the ice covered sidewalk because the grass was just too wet for her. My internet went out Monday night, and they couldn't come fix it (I tried the whole unplug, count to ten, and replug thing) until this morning. It turns out it was an equipment issue. My TV was working fine, as I had a rerun of The Golden Girls on when the technician came. So he turned everything off, and in about 30 minutes my internet worked. Three minutes after he left I turned my TV back on. What do you know? I could get no TV channels. I was kind of annoyed (I think not sleeping at all last night probably didn't help). They messed up one thing while fixing another. So I called Cox back, and the woman (who was so nice) talked me through resetting it. When that didn't work she contacted the technician that had left 30 minutes prior. Well, he was still in the parking lot! So he came back and finally fixed everything. I then shed a few tears when I read Billy Graham died (although he's having a good time for sure). Then I scolded myself for being emotional. Afterwards, I spent time on the phone with the assistant to a specialist who, bless her heart, didn't seem to be familiar with the office (maybe she was new) and how everything worked. So it's the afternoon now, what are you up to?
