I remember when I'm in elementary, highschool and college and early years working, I never complain of insomnia. I never talk about it or care about it because at that time I'm a good sleeper. But now everything has change one sleepless night cause me to worry that I might not sleep again. I wonder why some days I'm lucky I drift off. For 4 days now I have no serious sleep at night. I go to bed at 9pm try to close my eyes and wait for sleep to come but still I am wide awake. But now I'm not scared anymore if I cannot sleep the whole night. I'm used to having sleepless nights. If sleep don't come I just say at least I rested and close my eyes and have my back rested in the bed. I feel actually that I lose my ability to sleep. I'm not lucky this week.

I am usually one of those people that when my head hits the pillow, I am out. My husband is always so jealous because tosses and turns until he falls asleep.

I used to be like that as soon as I hit the pillow just a few minutes I'm asleep. I'm jealous of my mother she can sleep in just a matter of seconds

You get sick if you continue sly lack sleep, I know I had that terrible experience. Were not young anymore, I see myself having arthritis after a week of light exercise.

I think something is bothering you. There is a cause of every problem, and your problem with insomnia has a root cause. I too have some insomnia problem in the past, and the cause I discovered was too much worries and anxieties, even with trivial matters. Over-thinking and extreme anxiety are factors that prevent us to sleep soundly. Sleep deprivation may even cause side effects and can be detrimental to our health. The major cause of extreme anxiety can be physiological, that is certain part of the brain may not be functioning normally, OR it can be emotional trauma, or triggered by an incident in the past that altered our normal daily lives. Many people suffer insomnia caused by lack of money. I have a lady friend who have the same problem, she always struggle with how to make both ends meet. But when she is able to solve such root cause, she could sleep soundly at night. Whatever the problem is, you really should go back to the root cause of your problem, and do your best to solve it. And with prayers and faith in God, you will be healed.

I had uncontrollable anxieties different worries that made me feel I will not be able to sleep. It just happen one day that I fear I will not be able to sleep and it's hard for me to sleep. I know the root is psychological. It's like a miracle every time I fall asleep

I am an expert in insomnia. Well, I would rather be an expert in some field of science. I have better weeks when I can easily sleep. When I am stressful I can't sleep which is bad. I hope you can sleep soon.
