Did you know that Washington was not really born on February 22nd? The Julian calendar was used by the British at the time of his birth and his original birth date was February 11, 1731. In 1752, when the British finally adopted the Georgian calendar that moved his birth date up a year and 11 days. George's false teeth were not actually made of wood. They were made of hippopotamus ivory, human teeth, bone, gold metal wire, brass screws and lead.
