So why does this lesser known money song top the list over better known more famous titles? Simple. My favorite hard rock band is AC/DC. No one but no one could rock as hard and loud as the thunder from down under. I refer to AC/DC in the past tense since the death of Malcolm Young and Brian Johnson’s hearing impairment retirement has effectively ended the band as we knew it.
Written by Angus and Malcolm Young, “Moneytalks” appears on “The Razor’s Edge” album and charted at Billboard #40. AC/DC was never about big hit singles and all about the concert stage. “Moneytalks” is a typical raucous AC/DC rocker best heard live.
Johnson will not be growling this anymore:
“Come on, come on, love me for the money
Come on, come on, listen to the money talk”

That would be a good choice. I was into pop/rock songs.

Nice curve ball for the top spot. Excellent series, and you can take that to the bank!

I was hoping for "Money" by KMFDM at some point, but this is a perfect #1.
