"Sick as a dog"; "At Death's Door"; etc. Last Friday got sick for no reason and blew it off. Sunday at 1pm went to the ER. They gave me a Nebulizer Treatment and shot me in the butt with steroids and sent me home.
Tuesday at 6am made another run to the ER. This doctor was mad at what the last doctor didn't do. THIS doctor did chest xrays, blood draw, sputum sample, IV, Nebulizer treatment, Oxygen, EKG, and sent me home with cough syrup, steroids and anti-bacterial pills. This doctor says I have Acute Bronchitis; well it feels more like Pneumonia.
Now that it's Friday, I'm still at death's door. If I make it til Monday, I'll be shocked. So I'm sorry that I haven't interacted with anybody since really 2/16 and I apologize. I'm not sure after this post how soon I'll get back with ya'll. Talk to you later; hopefully.

I told the nurse she'd have to try to find a muscle in my butt. At 5'8" tall and weighing 105 pounds, there's not much for a needle to try and find @Plethos .

@nanette64 i read the rest of your comments. would propping your head on lots of pillows help? or maybe sleep on a recliner?

@hereandthere The pillows work a little better. I have bad spinal injuries so sitting at an angle for very long really hurts. My sister recommended Musinex DM and that seems to be doing better than all the other crap the doctor gave me.

I hate going to a hospital @hereandthere . Been through 3 bottles of cough syrup, the steroids, inhaler use, oxygen use, nebulizer use and still the mucus is thick as cement.

Still so sick. Still have to feed the critters. Got 50 feet from the house and thought I was gonna pass out. The donkeys were bit*hing so I had to keep going @hostessman .

The Musinex DM is actually working better than all the "prescription" stuff @JamesHxstatic believe it or not. I actually slept the whole night through for the first time since the 18th.

This was four days ago I truly hope you have recovered now from your illness. It's hot weather over here but I got sick last month due to the cold front.

Oh my, I'm sorry I missed this when you posted it Nanette. You obviously did make it through as you've just commented on my post, so I'm relieved about that. Sorry that you didn't get proper treatment when you first went to the ER. I hope that you aren't feeling too bad now. Luv ya.

Sorry to hear this Nanette. At least the second Doctor gave you a through checking over and the proper medication/treatment to recover. The value of health can not be underestimated. Get better soon!
