Vacation is officially moved to November

My husband and I usually go to Cozumel, Mexico each year for Spring Break. This will be the first time in many years that we don't. It is for a very good reason though--he is finally having his hip replaced. He scheduled it for that time because I have the week off of work and I'll be around to help him if he needs it. I was going to take time off to do that but now I won't have to. This morning he said to start looking at places to go in November. I have a week off then too. We might go to Cozumel or we might wind up somewhere else that we've never been. We need to look at prices and options and see what is out there. I'm excited to know that we will still be going away. . . just at a later date. It is something to look forward to, especially in the fall when the days are getting shorter and I am sad about the impending winter.

I am so glad to hear that he finally is having it done. He will be so happy after he gets it done and not hurting no more

Postponing your vacation until Fall sounds wonderful especially with Winter approaching (like you said). Glad to hear your husband has finally agreed to do the hip replacement.

You should choose someplace you have not been to before as that would be an exciting new experience.

I’m just leery of all-inclusive as I’ve heard the food usually isn’t very good. I’m picky about food in that I don’t want to eat crap or mediocre food.

Perhaps it is good to have a vacation in a different season. You will experience something new. I hope you will have a good time then.

At least you guys are going to be able to go on vacation. And your hubby will also be able to get his hip replacement. Both are good.
