Those darned pop up ads

I had started to cruise through the activities of one of the myLot members when the "tug of war" started. You know, where you try to scroll down the page and it keeps going back to the top and the pop up ad shows up. On my screen it's for, of all things, Lexus LS 500 Hybrid. I wouldn't mind the pop up ads, some of them arre rather informative. But to be deluged with advertisements for something that I cannot afford either new or well used, is a bid ludicrous and a huge waste of time! On top of that it is a enormous annoyance. I would be more apt to pay attention to advertisements aimed at someone in my income bracket.

No pop ups here. Never experienced that at all.

@toniganzon I have never seen one here. I turned off the pop ups blocker to see what happens and I do not get pop ups. She possibly got a pop ups Trojan, better to run a virus check.

@toniganzon If you get many pop ups you may be sure you got a virus. Searching online it is easy to find how to check and remove the viruses.

I just had to battle that exact Lexus pop-up to read your post. It's kept myLotting to a minimum today.
