We have a nice neighborhood and we also have food vendors riding around the neighborhood every morning. They sell lots of different kinds of vegetable, meat, cakes and such. When I am back home, I always tell my wife to buy me rice cooked in coconut milk and grated coconut from the vendor passing by our house. The rice is formed round about 6 in diameter. I sometimes add cooked chilly. I can eat up to six pieces of this food and I won't eat anything else until lunch time.
Have you ever tasted this kind of cake?

I have not tried this before. Here, we have a kind similar dessert which is made of some kind of flour (I am not sure if it's glutinous rice flour, but it's sticky), and with the grated coconut topping too.
I think it's easier to make with rice, and I might be able to try it at home. Is it just plain without adding sugar or salt, so you eat with chillies sometimes?

This food is perhaps available in smaller restaurants with local reputation.
