Another classic, great Television Series of the past, around the same time as Little House on the Prairie, was "The Waltons". It was set during the American Depression in a mountain town in Virginia and the story was told by the oldest son John Boy. The show ran for 9 Seasons.
I always thought it was a good family show. Did you watch it?

Yes, I did watch the Waltons. If you like you can still watch all of the Walton episodes through a site called Putlocker. All you have to do is write in the search engine The Waltons season one Putlocker and you will be directed there.

@leapea2417 Monday nights at 8 pm on BBC2. Never admitted to watching it at the time though. A tad righteous though for my taste, though I did hanker after a slug of the Misses Baldwin's recipe.
